Unemployment Compensation

Zeigler and Associates represents both employers and employees in unemployment compensation proceedings. We handle client hearings before the Administrative Law Judges on issues ranging from reductions in force or layoffs and benefit determinations, to terminations for cause. With the exercise of our years of trial experience, our clients can prevail in contested proceedings.

Restitution hearings can be difficult for employees that have received benefits. Zeigler and Associates can sometimes establish circumstances that may excuse repayment, allowing the employee to avoid having to repay some or all of those benefits.
